I was in the most pain I have ever been in with my far back bottom tooth. I had a root canal done a couple years back and the xrays show that it wasnt properly done. I hadnt slept in days so I found Dr. Guerra dentist office and saw he took emergency patients, so I waited till 8 that morning and called and they got me at 9 the same morning. I was already relieved by that. When i showed up all I had to do is fill out 2 pieces of paper and the lady at the front desk was such a sweetheart. I was seen in no more than 5 mins later. Dr Guerra and his assistant was great with me, he made sure i was comfortable in everything he did, I ended having to just get the tooth removed. I didnt feel a thing and the procedure literally took maybe 20 minutes once he got started. I would recommend anyone to Dr. Guerra, you feel like your number 1 when you go in there and its painless when you leave.

My husband and I moved to Colorado Springs about a year and a half ago. Finding a good dentist is always one of the toughest things about starting over in a new town - I've had some issues in the past (braces, root canals, pulled teeth, etc) so I am a little anxious about going to the dentist, yet know how important it is to my health.

I read the great reviews about Dr. Guerra on this site and made an appointment - hoping that I, too, would have a positive experience. I was SO pleased to find that all the positive comments held true for my experience as well. Dr. Guerra was very friendly, asked questions, and told me what my treatment options were without ever being "pushy".

The front desk/appointment staff have been great, too - they always greet me with a smile and are good about sending appointment reminders (via a postcard in the mail and a call).

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in to the dental office. The atmosphere was instantly relaxing and the ladies at the front desk were very nice. I think that the x-rays were the part that I was dreading the most, but the woman that had to do those for me was so gentle and sweet that I didn't mind it at all. The equipment that they used was all up to date and a lot of it, I had never even seen before. Dr. Guerra was very professional and was proactive. He didn't make me feel bad that I hadn't been to the dentist in two years and that I had four cavities and it was obvious that he is one of the best in the business. What an exceptional experience I had with Dr. Guerra and his staff!! I have had numerous visits and work by dentists as being a military dependent we have moved eight times which required finding a competent dentist with each relocation. Dr. Guerra ia a jewel.

I have always disliked the color and shape of my teeth. After trying many whitening procedures and products which did not work for me, I consulted with Dr. Guerra. All questions were answered and a detailed treatment plan was discussed in a relaxed and professional environment.

All of Dr. Guerra's staff were friendly, professional and most helpful. This included his assistant as well as the office support personnel.

WOW!! What a difference a five hour complely pain free free and personel experience treatment I had. I now have the color and shape of teeth I had always wished I had. I would highly recommend Dr. Guerra. I needed a root canal quickly - going out of the country in a few weeks. 1st saw a dentist who wanted to do all of his "steps" before doing any work. My daughter told me to call Dr. Guerra. He saw me for a consultation immed. & scheduled the work in a few days. He & the staff listened to my situation & accomodated my needs. I've had a few root canals before & was prepared for the pain, swelling & bruising I had previously experienced. Didn't have any of that this time! There was absolutely no pain during the procedure (except my sensitivities to cold water) & only some slight irritation after that was completely handled with Advil. This is the morning after & I'm amazed at how pain-free I am after he had to do so much work on two upper-back teeth. I was sure after 3 hours I would have at least some swelling or jaw pain, but he is patient & thoughful, allowing lots of breaks that obviously helped to avoid this. I had paid in adv. & they called to tell me one of the procedures they expected didn't have to be done & I have a large credit. I was impressed since I wouldn't have known. I had been dealing with dental pain for sometime. My fear of the dentist kept me from getting it looked at or getting it resolved. To make matters worse I have to pay out of pocket.

Dr. Guerra had a coupon in my magazine flier that allowed me to have an exam and xrays at a low cost. They assured me that any discomfort I might feel would be taken care. I had two teeth worked on and they needed to be crowned. Crowns

I had broken a tooth and was trying to ignore the pain due to finances. Finally when I could take it no longer, I was so pleased to see that Dr. Guerras' office took same day appointmets. His office staff was so friendly and attentive, I felt comfortable as soon as I went in. There was very little wait time, and when I saw Dr. Guerra he addressed the problem that took me in, and nothing else. He did an extraction of the tooth, unscheduled, of course, but squeezed me in very quickly. I was up and back in the running in no time flat. I's hard to know where to start. I had been afraid of going to the dentist for as long as I can remember. Our family were planning on leaving the next day for a little R&R. I felt I could no longer deal with the pain. One of my friends told me about Dr. Guerra. I called him on Friday night, never expecting to reach him. He called in some help, and met me at his office at 8:00PM. He did a rootcanal and got me out of pain. Our whole family goes to him now. Everyone in the office is friendly, and helpful. I was very lucky to find Dr. Guerra, and you will be too! The chairs are comfortable and you can watch TV or a movie while you are getting your work done.

I have been going to Dr. Guerra for several years, and he is an outstanding dentist. In addition to getting routine cleanings at his office, Dr. Guerra has done replacements of amalgam fillings with composites for me, and most recently he did a root canal for me. I was very nervous about getting a root canal, but he explained to me why I had been experiencing pain with my tooth, explained how the root canal would help, helped me feel at ease about the procedure, and made sure I was comfortable during the entire procedure. He did the root canal in one visit, and it went very well. Dr. Guerra even called me the next day to see how I was doing.

After not seeing a dentist for 5 years, I got a terrible tooth ache. I looked through the yellow pages, and saw Dr. Gurra's ad. I call at 11 AM and had an appointment for 12 noon! He was able to treat my tooth (root canal) and get me out of pain with-in 2 hours. They offered sedation (waking) and being a dentist coward, I accepted. The staff is so professional and kind. When I was being treated I honestly felt nothing but compassion and understanding. The best way for me to explain is like it's when you take your car in for a oil change. You tell your self I'm only getting an oil change, but end up having 12 other services done that could have waited or didn't even need to be done. That is how I thought it would be going to the Dentist. I'm very money conscious, but don't like to take chances when it comes to my teeth due to other health risk it could cause. First, I would like to say that I hadn't been to a dentist in over 10 years, due to a couple of bad experiences. I explained the situation to Dr. Guerra and he was very reassuring. He explained my treatment to me indepth as well as the price. It was a little pricey, so I decided to go to a "well-known" dentist within the United Concordia Network. To say the least, the diagnosis were much different from Dr. Guerra's, which caused the price to be much higher, plus he wanted to remove 4 of my teeth. I said to my self, "I'm going back to Dr. Guerra."

I have long has a terrible fear of dentists, and dreaded getting a root canal on a front tooth. Dr. Guerra was so incredibly patient and caring. I didn't feel a thing, and the root canal was a complete success. What impressed me most was that I recieved a personal phone cal from Dr. Guerra that night to check in to see how I was feeling. I had not been to a dentist for almost 14 years, but when I broke off a front tooth, due to decay and lost fillings, my wife found Dr. Guerra from outside recommendations. Dr. Guerra had to extract 4 of my front teeth due to decay, but fitted me with a partial denture that gave me my smile back.

I also had two crowns done, (he saved the teeth, and did not pull them,) and four cavities filled. Compared to the costs of other dentists, Dr. Guerra was in the mid range of pricing.

If there is such a thing as looking forward to a dental appointment, then there is an opening at Dr. Guerra's! Jennifer at the front desk has done everything from advising me about my insurance benefits to listening to me cry when I lost a job.

The physical plant is pleasing, extremely neat and clean, and comfortable. The hygienists are wonderful and gentle. One of the dental assistants, Alison worked with Dr. on my new crown. The team they made was exquisite to watch; very efficient movements, like a ballet of instruments. She was pleasant, and explained everything going on. She even gave me a warm and comforting wash cloth to wash my mouth and hands after my treatment.

The Dr has incridible talent. I have never had a crown fit so well, and the margins were right at my gum line which made it look just like my tooth only prettier of course. I am having him replace all my crowns done by a previous dentist who left the margins open and decay had started. To me that is simply inexcusable for such expensive work. The Dr is always friendly, professional, and is always smiling. The shots he gave to me were very gentle and he would ask me several times during the treatment how I was doing.

My daughter needed a few of her last baby teeth removed for braces, and Dr Guerra made my nervous little 11 year old feel great. She loved watching TV with her cleaning and was crazy about the comfortable "Queen's Chair"! Dr. Guerra extracted 3 teeth quickly and carefully with no problem at all. This was not the case a couple years ago with a different dentist - that experience was not at all pleasant and with no care about how she did later. Dr. Guerra called us the next morning to check on my daughter, asking about not only her healing process, but if she had any anxiety - which there was none. I met Dr. Guerra many years ago when he was in dental school in the same city of which I grew up in. At that time I could not afford some of the dental work I needed so I went to the Dental School for my care. As a young child I suffered a traumatic accident that left my teeth and most importantly my smile a mess! I was assigned to Dr. Guerra who performed several procedures on me. I remember thinking he was a kind, gentle and a competent clinician. I was thrilled to have the work done and everything looked so great!. I then moved out of state and had to find another dentist. He spoke with me about what his next step was and told me how he would be proceeding. Melinda (one of the assistants) was very knowledgeable before Dr. Guerra was even in the room. She gave me some pointers as to what I could improve to stay our of the dentist office other than every 6 months. By the time Dr. Guerra had finished and I went up front, the front office team (Jennifer and Trini) had already gathered my insurance and co-pay information and had it waiting for me. I went to this dentist when I was thoroughly dissatisfied with my previous dentist of 15 years. I was having pain that my previous dentist did not resolve or attempt to resolve in the year since they worked on my teeth. This dentist immediately got me in for an appointment and provided me with a thorough explanation of the problem and detail on how to solve the problem.

He immediately got me in for another appointment to remedy the problem I had been having for a year. He performed the most painless root canal I had ever experienced and this was not my first time for a root canal. He also managed to fit a filling and temporary crown in at the same time. It as the most pleaseant experience I have ever had with a dental experience. I have recommended him immediately to several of my friends and associates and they have already began calling to set their appointments. He is my new dentist and I am exceptionally happy with him and his office staff!!!!
