Case Description
Using a laser, my daughter's dentist has found two dental caries on the biting surfaces of her teeth (3 & 21) and recommends "laser fluoride infusion" as a preventative measure to keep numerous "incipient lesions" from developing into caries. What research is available to show the effectiveness of this treatment? Can laser fluoride infusion be performed while she is wearing braces?
